Who We Are

The Association of Diction Coaches of Nigeria (ADCN) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-ethnical, non-religious, non-discriminatory, non-racial, multi-dimensional; innovative, creative, democratic, educative, informative, and above all, God-fearing umbrella professional association of all English diction coaches/elocutionists in Nigeria

The ADCN is engaged in the promotion of best practices in the teaching and learning of English diction and elocution and protection of the rights of its registered members across Nigeria. It boasts an observer status with the relevant regulatory institutes and bodies in education, and a working partnership with many national and international governmental and non-governmental organisations concerned with communication and professional advocacy in Nigeria and across the world.

The ADCN is Nigeria's foremost and most vibrant professional membership organisation and potentially Africa's most influential network of professional elocutionists and English diction coaches, with over 500 elocutionists/diction coaches on its roll in 15 active branches across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. It is organised into three practice sections, two fora and one institute in view, all supported by one National Secretariat.
